New jailbroken users and using SSH, don't forget to change your root password which is "alpine" by default.
- For BackupHelper software, you just have to go in Preferences and apply a new root password.
Required :
- a jailbroken iPhone
- OpenSSH installed
- Mobile Terminal intalled
- You can also use Putty, the command center of iTunnel Suite or WinSCP.
- Start Mobile Terminal on your iPhone
- Type : su root
- Type your root password
« alpine » then press return
Type « passwd » then press return
- Type your new root password and then press return
- Type it again and then press return
